You control the presentation

You don't get a second chance to make a first impression.

Thinking of selling your home? Then first impressions matter.

Look at it this way. If you're shopping, you'll naturally be attracted to the assistant with the big smile, the one who's well presented.

If you're buying a car, the vehicle that's clean, shiny and with a fresh interior will appeal. The same applies to the way a potential purchaser will look at your home.

Be critical of your house. Stand in the street and try to see the property through the eyes of a buyer. (Ask a friend to do it for you).

  • Is the paintwork dirty?
  • How's the spouting?
  • Do the front door and letterbox need a lick of paint?
  • Are there weeds and overgrown bushes in the garden?
  • Does the house look cared for?
  • Does it look inviting?
